Ellis Nadler's Cards of Wu series is a "satire on the Tarot in a set of 78 woodcuts." A new card seems to appear every few days on Ellis's blog. You can buy postcards, prints, and posters of these images via redbubble, and a deluxe collectors' edition is in the works.
I featured the cards in May 2010, but I couldn't resist posting another batch. (Postcard versions are everywhere in my apartment, so often on my mind.)
Repeating myself from that first post:
Ellis Nadler's "Cards of Wu" is a hopefully never-ending series of woodcuts in the form of divination cards.
Thank you Ellis for sharing your work here—and for contributing that amazing Evil Orchid Garden bookplate. I have long kept up with the adventures of the Implausibility Detection Unit on Ellis's sketchbook/blog and suggest you do too.
I hope to post some of his non-Wu work soon.
